Among the most visited places in Italy, the site, unique in the world, of the archaeological excavations of Pompeii which tells a fascinating chapter in Roman history and the Old Center of Naples.
8:30 Transfer by C4Y accessible minivan to Boscoreale, where we will visit the Antiquarium Nazionale: “Man and environment in the Vesuvian territory”, situated in the confines of the Villa Regina archaeological zone. Numerous remains of every possible type are on display, often exceptionally well-preserved, having been covered by ash or lava up until their eventual unearthing during the excavations of Pompeii and surrounding villas in the 19th and 20th Centuries. Thanks to these remains, and to reconstructions of villas both in plastic and 3D, we can immerse ourselves in the daily life of a Vesuvian Farmhouse, in the time of the Romans, seeing with our own eyes and practically able to taste, the food they ate, the wine they drank, and how it was produced.
Then we visit the site of Pompeii, an incredible testimony to Roman life, which gradually emerged in recent centuries from the darkness into which it had been plunged back in 79AD. Places worth a visit are numerous: The Faun’s House; the Centurian’s House; the Villa of Mysteries; the amphitheater; the Forum and so on. Time seems to stand still, with the material from the eruption having preserved entire, agonized, human outlines, houses, shops. All of this makes Pompeii a unique and unforgettable experience.

14:00 – 16:00 Departure by minibus for the historic centre of Naples, where we will find an exceptional concentration of historic churches and monasteries and a number of famous streets running through the heart of the city, known as decumani and dating back to Roman and Greek ancient times.
