Baia and the Lake of Averno

Summary

Our proposal: Trips in natural and healthy environments, immersed in landscapes rich in beauty, brilliant colors and scents ... an inner journey by approaching animals that will stimulate our emotion. We will discover how Humanity has lived there through the traces left over time, in search of well-being and harmony between human beings and Nature, between the Past and the Present.

Itinerary

10:00 a.m. Departure from the last collection point
11:00 a.m. Arrival in Baia, the ancient Baiae, famous for the thermal nature of its territory, in Roman times it was one of the favorite holiday destinations of the aristocracy.
Visit to The Castle of Baia
Walk along the port of Baia. It is a magical place, loved and appreciated since the dawn of time. A natural tourist port, with numerous restaurants and bars overlooking a gentle landscape.
Visit to the cd. Temple of Venus which is actually a structure that is part of the thermal complex of the Augustee Baths of Baia: an octagonal thermal building, dated to the Hadrianic period II sec. A.D. , and to the Temple of Diana, one of the majestic dome temples of the Phlegraean area; they are both located on the quay of the port of Baia: it is possible to admire them from the square in front.
Visit to the monumental park of the thermal baths of Baia (Villa of the Ambulatio) The site is the testimony that the Romans in terms of spas were in the forefront …. Very impressive is the temple of Mercury, or the baths of Mercury.
2:00 pm – 2:15 pm Transfer by bus on the Averno lake:
2:15 p.m./ 3:00 p.m. packed lunch at a farmhouse
3:00 p.m./ 4:00 p.m. Walk on the shores of the lake to the remains of the Temple of Apollo.
4:00 p.m./ 5:00 p.m. Assisted animal activity 🐕 ’’ designed and structured to spend time in contact with nature, approaching man and dog, through the knowledge of the dog and his way of communicating”.
We will learn to know some signs of body language, which dogs use to communicate, through observation and contact with them. Rudy & Gea are the four-legged friends who will guide us in this adventure by an expert Zooterapeuta, Relational Dog-Cult Educator.

The trip will be confirmed once we reach the number of partecipants planned for within 24hs.
