DAY 1: THE ANCIENT CENTER: THE LIVES OF ABBESSES, ARTISTS, PAINTERS AND PAGAN GODDESSES.
L Meeting at arrival terminal – transfer by accessible c4y minivan to hotel, and before continuing by c4y minivan to Piazza del Gesù.Here we visit Santa Chiara Monastery, famous for ist maiolic cloister. Following the historic Decumani streets we go towards piazza Miraglia, where it’s possibe to admire Chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore La Pietrasanta Church, built in the VI secolo on the remains of a secret roman temple of the Goddess Diana. In this area there are plenty of opportunities to try street food. In the afternoon we stroll through the artist district of Naples (p.zza Bellini, Via Costantinopoli and piazza Dante) where we can find traces of the lives of various women artists such as painters and musicians who lived above all between the 19th and the 20th centuries..Back to the hotel.
DAY 2: BREATHAKING MEDITERRANEN VIEWS, MAJESTIC MONASTERIES AND ROYAL ESCAPES: LIVES OF QUEENS, ROYAL MISTRESSES AND BROTHELS.
After breakfast a stroll from the old stock exchange ‘ piazza della Borsa’, along via Toledo , a peek into the spanish quarters, on to piazza plebiscito and a visit to the Royal Palace of Naples. A stop for a ‘neapolitan meal ! After lunch a short c4y bus ride up Vomero hill passing through a verdant landscape dotted with lovely 19th century neapolitan villas and early 20th century liberty style architectural masterpieces. At the top of the hill we will have a three hours to visit the san Martino certosa (Carthusian monastery) and the Villa Floridiana (royal bourbon country residence).Back to the hotel..
DAY3 : THE ANCIENT STORIES OF SAINTS , MERMAIDS AND REVOLUTIONARY EDUCATORS
After breakfast in hotel, now we go to downtown Naples on Mount Echia, where Palepoli was founded, overlooking the Megaride rock where the legendary mermaid Partenope died. Down again to the seafront for a stroll along via Caracciolo, Riviera di Chiaia and pedestrian ‘lungomare liberato’. Here we can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants.In the afternoon visit at either the Pan Museum, or villa Pignatelli or Castel dell’ovo. Back to the hotel.
DAY 4: SHOPPING TIME!
After breakfast transfer by C4Y minivan to the shopping area with a personal expert shopper! Walking along via de’ Mille for perfume shops, fashion boutiques, artisan clothing, local artwork and souvenirs. A bus ride along the harbour area and through downtown Naples. a stop at Maritime Station for a glance at the ships and at the adjecent shopping center. One last coffe and a traditional cake and back to the hotel to pick up the luggage! Transfer by bus to trasport terminals.
