Rome, inside and outside the walls
Rome the Eternal City, Rome and the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum.
But beyond this Rome there are many other wonders to discover, because they are hidden in the immensity of this beautiful city and therefore not included in the typical tourist flows. These are the places that we want to introduce you to, letting us transport ourselves by our minibus to reach those sites otherwise not easily accessible in a ‘comfortable and safe’ way.
Transfer to the check-in hotel and accommodation in the rooms.
Visit of the San Lorenzo district and the Verano Cemetery.
Free lunch
Afternoon: We will walk through the San Lorenzo district, which will host us for the duration of the stay, capturing its facets and the most characteristic places from a historical and cultural point of view: the places of the bombing of San Lorenzo, the birth of Montessori culture, the university city and the Verano Monumental Cemetery.
Free dinner and return to the hotel
Breakfast and departure for the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity. We will begin our tour of Rome “outside the modern walls” by moving east, almost on the border with Abruzzo, at about 1300 m above sea level.
The peculiarity of the Sanctuary of Vallepietra is in fact that of being immersed in the Parco dei Monti Simbruini, lying on a slope of Mount Autore, which dominates the Simbrivio Valley.
– 1.30 pm Packed lunch and departure for Subiaco Along the way we can stop at Lake San Benedetto, a bucolic area right next to the “paper town”. In the afternoon visit the Rocca di Subiaco Abbey and the town.

Dinner and free and return to the hotel
Breakfast and immediately we will leave for the garden of Ninfa: a natural monument rich in national and non-national plants such as the American walnut, the Japanese maple with pink leaves and the maple with white leaves, the red beech and the pine with silver leaves and many others.
In spring an incredible explosion of scents envelops the park.
In the park we will spend the morning having lunch (free lunch)
In the afternoon we move to Sermoneta: a small but important medieval village rich in history and places to know such as: the Caetani castle, The merchants’ loggia (where various scenes of the film were shot: “we just have to cry”, the church of San Michele Arcangelo erected on the remains of the Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Maia.
Subsequently, departure for Rome. Dinner and free and return to the hotel
Breakfast and departure (about an hour’s journey) for the wonderful Villa d’Este to discover one of the favorite haunts of Roman families and in search of the unique sounds of its fountains.
Visit to the museum of the Villa.
After we move to the village where we will be free to have lunch and stroll along the narrow and winding alleys of Tivoli, in search of its hidden spots.
Immediately after we move to the Tivoli spa to relax and enjoy a well-deserved relaxation.
Free dinner and return to the hotel.
We will evaluate, depending on the period, whether to choose to go to Frascati and have lunch there in fraschetta and at the Tuscolo Park, or to head towards Albano-Castelgandolfo, or Marino-Nemi where we’ll have our typical lunch of the fraschetta.

A holiday-trip
Absolutely brilliant company to enjoy a tour with. We’ve just returned from Italy and had a fantastic tour with disabled transport, tour guide and driver for a day at Vesuvius and Pompeii, with lunch organised in between. Every bit of the day was so well organised and the communication beforehand from the ‘office lady’ Ileana was superb!
